Install the Visual Studio 2015 C++ Redistributable (x86), that will fix your problem.

Actually, I have the same problem and I tried just that but the problem still persists. I'm stuck with a very old version of PCSX2 until I can get this newer one to work without that MCVP thing. Any help?

PCSX2 can't work without it. Are you sure you downloaded the x86 version?

^ If you did indeed install the x86 version as Bositman suggested, then do this:
Install it again, and choose to do a "Repair" install.

Hi, I got the 86 version and it works fine now, thanks.
I know this is off topic, but any idea how to transfer memory card save files from the old one to this one? I copied and pasted the files in the memcard folder but it just gave me some old files from games my brother played. Not sure why or what I can do so if you have any idea, greatly appreciated.
