for some reason the text boxes don't show up, but the text does, the game other wise runs more or less perfectly with no other errors.

im not entirely sure what to put in the way of specs, but i have a dell studio 1558 laptop
it says the  processor is "intel® core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz 2.13GH"

if you need anything else just tell me, this is my first time trying to fix a particular issue.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.

Have you tried using Direct3D 11?

i'm using version 1.2.1
64bit windows 7
4GBs of memory
intel® graphics media accelerator HD
intel® core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz 2.13GH is the CPU i think

the laptop can't handle it, it can only manage direct3D9.

Please post the settings you're using in GSdx. I just tested D3D9 and it works fine here.

Use PCSX2 1.4.0 or 1.5.0.

even when using a newer version, the issue persists.

Is it kingdom hearts or a version of final mix you patched with a translation patch ?
