Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone can help me. Im planning on playing FFX X2 XII, can i run the

Heres my specs

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2.61 ghz
2 GB RAM 667 DDR

I played kingdomhearts Fairly with these specs

My Plugins are

GSdx 890 0.1.14 - Graphics
Linuz/Pg ISO CDVD 0.8.0
SPU2-X 1.10

Can I run them fairly with a 50-60 FPS

Ohh and I heard that there was a limiter in pcsx2 0.9.6 Can i turn that off in case I run slow, Heard you can go 100-150 FPS with it off
well the limiter has existed since 0.9.4 (i think 0.9.2 also Smile), to disable it just go to Config->Cpu and set it to Normal (or set it to FrameSkip/VUSkip if you want it faster Tongue).

You don't want to go up to 100-150 fps lol, the game then runs TOO fast and for many it can be hard to play.
Can I run the game smooth??

Maybe. I don't know what kind of speeds you'll see without at least SSSE3. The only way to know is to just try it.
How do I get SSSE3???

All I have is SSE3, SSE2.SSE

Does that help if not how do I GET SSSE3, ill buy vista if I have to
your cpu must support it, so what cpu do you have? (if you don't know how to find then search cpu-z).

This is what it says, I dont know what it says but there it is.

Do I have to upgrade my PC to get SSSE3 or SSE4 1
yes you have to buy a newer cpu (like the Core 2 Duo E8400, and a newer motherboard supporting that cpu) to be able to use SSSE3 (and even better SSE4.1 Biggrin ). Smile
You have an amd, which unfortunately doesn't support SSSE3, hence your stuck with SSE2, FFX is highly compatible and you should be able to run it at a decent speed with some of the speedhacks on.

If you do want to upgrade your cpu to that which supports SSSE3 or SSE4.1 you would need an intel as AMD have the equivalent but slightly different versions of SSSE3 and SSE4.1 and hence are not supported at this time.
