I have tried a few Faqs on here and on youtube but I can't figure out how to add my cheats.
for starters I downloaded the PCSX2CE but there is no exe file to click on so I have no clue how to use it.

and also I have no idea how I am supposed to type my codes in the txt file , do I just put the code in and save and then change the txt to .pnach

It's for Mortal Kombat Shaolin monks
Here is how my file looks It's just one code I am testing so far :

I have seen codes having patch=1,EE........ But I have no clue what all that means because it always has a bunch of random numbers that I have no clue how to add like patch=1,EE,00272210,word,24030256.

I know I sound totally nooby But I have been trying all day to get this dam code working with my game.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

The file should be called the game CRC.pnach, example: 5BBC2F40.pnach
You can check the CRC in the log window of PCSX2, it's the 8-hex numbered code [5BBC2F40], in front of the [Status =].
The file contents should be like this:
patch=1,EE,00272210,word,24030256


Your 00C2974C 00000041 code seems to be in "Codebreaker & Exploder"(not sure which ) format, it needs to be converted to raw/pcsx2 format, you can use omniconvert for this: forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Cheat-Converter

The original Kitana code is Action Replay MAX

XT78-REAF-229CC

Then I used omniconvert_111_R2 and set it up so it says Action replay MAX to..........Raw Unencrypted and got
00C2974C 00000059

I added that to my txt file and saved it as a .Pnach file but the cheat didn't work.

Ah it worked thanks for helping me very very very much appreciated , got Jade and Mileena working as well now.
