I am stuck as to what is causing any of my games to instantly crash to my desktop. My specs are:
8800 GTS 320 MB
4 GB of Ram
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor 2.8GHz Socket AM2
ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

My event viewer shows this when i run the game:

Faulting application pcsx2 0.9.6.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00000000.

Please help.

Yea I am running the latest version.
Output was DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivelent version of DirectX has been installed. No installation is necessary.

are you trying to run DVD?
