Hello,
I read the other threads about this error message but it didn't help much.
I tried almost everything, they wrote there ... but now I'll have to ask by myself.

How can I fix this problem?

also, this "Boot Error > SYSTEM.CNF not found" is bothering me...
but it seems to work so far, if there wasn't this strange error message
"out of memory"...

edit:
also, this error occurs right after the intro with the sony logo.
Well of course it should bother you, no file to load is found you know.
Are you running a disc or an iso. What plugin do you have as your CD/DVD plugin.

And what's out of memory exactly?
Not sure what's out of memory but it probably means you don't have enough system ram.
Also your single core 2ghz cpu is no good for pcsx2 Sad
I use a iso... maybe I'll have to make another one..?

Yeah, maybe I need a new PC ~_~ altough, previous versions of PCSX2 did work o_o;!

Thank you for the answer anyway.

Anyway:
The message says: "An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occurred, with the message: Out of memory! Pcsx2 will now close, More details may be available via the emuLog.txt file (which I posted up there =D)"

edit: I looked again closely, that's all the information I can give you guys >_<!
What plugin do you have as your CD/DVD plugin.
This is either a bad ISO or the known Elf Loader bug in the 0.9.6 release. If its the bug, then using a more recent beta release will fix it.

I tried a new beta and it didn't work.
Also I use Linuz ISO ... I think it's called but you know what I mean probably XD! Anyway, I will make a new ISO sometimes around.
If someone has another solution, concerning this bug or the error-message.
Please post >_<!
Well, it's most likely you iso then.
Btw, if you have it mounted with something like daemon tools - unmount it. Coz you can't have it mounted and run it with Linuz simultaneously.
yes it could be a bad iso. Smile and if you get that error message right after the sony logo then that means you have to configure your ps2 bios Smile, so to fix that you set gsdx to software mode and set the cdvdrom option to cdvdnull and config the bios, then you can go back to hardware gsdx and Linuz Iso Smile
