Hi.
Which says, "Latest revision: here (updated every hour)", is wrong.
There a person download the version GSdx r887, and there http://www.pcsx2.net/files/12029 the version 890. So don't trust so much in that.

That 890 revision is from the old SVN. So the 890 revision from www.pcsx2.net is older than the 887 of the new SVN. So that is correct.

890 is the OLD GSDX repository revision, 887 is the newest on the NEW repository. So yes it is still the newest.
