I'm running 1.4.0 on a Windows 10 laptop, my PCSX2 graphics settings are:

DX 11 (Hardware)
Interlacing is Auto (I turned it to Off a couple times, with no increase in speed)
Resolution is Native (it did not go faster than 2x Native)
the other settings in that dialog box are Default

Window size is 960x720 (I tried 800x600 to see if it went faster, it did not)
Everything else in the settings is Default.

Both games run at an average of 40-50 (at best) fps, even with Turbo on. (By contrast, Fire Pro Wrestling Z runs at 60 fps most of the time, even at 2x or 3x Native resolution)

CPU - AMD A6-7310 4 Core Processor 2 GHz
GPU is AMD Integrated (I didn't run DXDiag yet so I don't know what specific card it is, but it's from 2015)
6 GB RAM currently inserted

My previous laptop with specs from 6 years ago was able to run FPR at 60fps, and averaged 50-60fps for most of KoC2, which is odd.

Well, not even speaking about your GPU, your CPU is VERY weak for pcsx2. Your STR (single thread rating) is about 910. Maybe you get a bit more with Turbo but it won't be enough. For PCSX2 you need a minimum of a 1600 STR. More demanding games require a STR of 2000. So you'll either need to get a new, more powerful, laptop or just use your PS2

your old specs are very weak too, but 6 years ago pcsx2 was less demanding.
that could explain why you think your old laptop performed better

Thanks for the clarifications; I'm guessing this means I should try using 1.0.0 instead of 1.4.0 on my newer laptop, like I've been doing on my older one, huh?

Versions older than 1.4.0 aren't supported anymore. So, you can use it, but keep in mind you won't get any help
