I recently downloaded PCSX2 0.9.8 on Mac. I'm having lagging problems and often the sound disappears while I'm playing. I have OS X El Capitan version 10.11.4. What are the appropriate settings so that the game runs smoothly?

It's a Macbook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
Processor 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
I'm trying to run Crash Tag Team Racing.
that's pretty weak for this game, especially with the wineskin port.
better play it on your real ps2 for now
