If there is such an ingame option - it's possible ;D

Nope theres no ingame option unfortuantly Sad.

Is there any patches that can disable the subtitles?
if there's no such option ingame...i think u have to keep them...Sad
You will have to look for a solution elsewhere. This is hardly related to emulation Sad

Actually it kinda does.

The subtitle text looks terrible Excl when running in pcsx2.

I know that its virtually impossible to disable the subtitles using the original PS2 console although since the PSCx2 can actually use various tricks to the game, may it be possible to disable the subtitles using a patch or something? If so how?

In the previous version of PCSX2 (i believe it was something like 0.9.1) the subtitles didnt even show!! (which is why i wouldnt mind...well at least an option to to show/not to show in pcsx2). You guys will probably say "go back to 0.9.1 or something.." well i would but its way slow and more buggier than the current so yeah get my drift.

Thanks

and actually we wouldn't advise to go back to an older version (newer versions are better), and also the pcsx2 team wouldn't give that advise either Smile
