I am really pissed off!
every time I try to play a game, I do this:

when i click it this appears:

and when i click yes it freezes!

I downloaded driectX 9 and installed it in my plug ins folder but don't know what to do next!
I am a starter. I don't know a thing about the program and I really wish that all of ya who can help would please help.

I am using the newest PCSX2 program.
and I have a lenovo, windows xp.

Try that link instead. Run the Web Installer and all should work afterward.

it worked!
but now the problem is that
1 it is very slow.
2 the video game starts and then freezes.
3 the sound is corrupted (I think it's linked to the first problem.)

Well you know that pcsx2 recuires a really fast computer like intels core 2 duo 8000+ series with a good dx9 card. And i beleive your computer is not good enough to get playable speeds. And yes your sounds is corrupted because of bad fps. I suggest to keep playing with your ps2 or getting new pc.

What is your system specs?

Post your config.

What game are you trying to play?
