Okay, so the emu gets me through the Atlus and Softdec logos then when it's time for the intro video, the screen just goes black and nothing happens. Any ideas?
Not enough info. pcsx2 version, console output, pcsx2 configuration, GS plugin configuration, CDVD plugin info.

I use pcsx2 0.9.2 TLB as for some reason, 0.9.6 cant run. Tried all the CDVD and graphic plugins and didn't work. No patches or hacks installed manually.
The ps2 output displays nothing new coming out when the screen goes black.
Well, 0.9.2 is source you trouble. It's ancient and unsupported. Try to find a reason for 0.9.6 is not work.
and pcsx2 below than pcsx2 0.9.6 doesnt support in this forum anymore.
