Hello. I am new to pcsx2 and have to say......GREAT JOB!

But i have one little problem. My games run really slow. I tried to configure it using the guides but the games still run very slow.

Im Running An ASUS Motherboard
Windows XP SP3
Intel® Pentium® 4 3.20 GHz, 3.19 Ghz
1.24 Gb Of Ram

Can anyone please give me configuration suggestions that well work decently with my computer. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

(Im Trying to Play FFX and Resident Evil 4)
What graphics card are you using?
I also heard that the P4s aren't that great with pcsx2. Also, I'm not 100% sure about this but, you probably could use more ram.
weak cpu hence low fps
You need a dual core cpu running at least at 3GHz to run most ps2 games at dull speed. Pentium4 will not give you any speed.
thanks for the responses!

im using the onboard video card.
dont know the details.

so what kind of processor and amount of ram do you guys recommend for a decent-good gameplay?
E8400 and Nvidia 9600GT should be good enough.
RAM isn't really significant, unless you suffice for your current OS. The amount you have is ok for XP, unless you're a really heavy user.

BTW, which Asus motherboard?
