I am really new to all of this stuff but think i am on the right track
Everytihng looks good configured PS2 menus then booted need for speed carbon. cd runs gets me through the intro and when the game starts to load i get this error:

vt1b miss: addr 0x28, mode 0

I have tried a reinstall and several configuration settings.

the game does not work properly on the emulator yet, we only have it listed as intro, so the fact you got ingame is a much bigger improvement than we expected. I dont think we will be able to help you get any further.
