I'm trying to play FFXII.

If I open the ISO with anything but Linuz Iso CDVD, PCSX2 will crash on the Sony Playstation logo with a Windows program error involving "gsdx-sse2.dll" (hard to be more specific, its a windows error box).

If I open it with Linuz, it will skip the opening animation, flash the "Start Game" and "load game" options which then will quickly disappear without me having a chance to do anything, then sit on the title screen for forever. I have configured the controllers, but no amount of button mashing does anything, it just sits on the title screen without giving me any options to load or start game.

What do I do?

set Gsdx to the Software renderer and CDVD to CDVDNull and configure the ps2's bios, then set Gsdx back to Hardware renderer and CDVD to the plugin that you had and that error won't happen again
