when i start pcsx2 ver 0.9.6
it all goes well...and the emulator works...

but it's only show me the PS2 menus just like the real ps2 console...

like this :

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION


and usually when the dvd game is inserted, the game begin...but not with this emulator...

can anyone help me?

You didn't set up the cdvd plugin correctly.
If you're playing from dvd, use gigaherz's cdvd plugin.
Don't forget to configure it so it uses your dvd drive letter

don't forget to format the memory card in those menus.
