On dx10 I get gs plugin failed and on dx9, it stutters/flashes and it's really slow. Is there any recommended settings for running this on vista ult? PC specs: Intel Core 2 Duo cpu 2ghz, 3gb ram.

I've tried tweaking the hack speeds and messing with some graphic settings but nothing seems to work. Running the latest pcsx2 (Pcsx2_0.9.6) with plugins and bios files.

Integrated graphics: Mobile Intel 965GM
So you are thinking that a intel integrated card can run dx10, nop, intel sucks, you would need a decent graphic card from nvidia or ati.

nvidia recommended for emulation, ati seems to perform bad no matter what emu you run
that your opinion, i have ati and i have no problem with emulators, do you have a ati graphic card so you can say that?
No, it's pretty much fact. There are complaints on boards all over for all different emulators about the performance differences between ATI and nVidia.
ok..im a noob at this but im currently running as admin..
and i cant save any of my configurations ill configure them.....save them...then nothing...i cant use the controller..and if i change the video settings from windo to full screen it stays in window
can someone help me out please? i live it a small town so i have nothing to do. much appreciated
oh and i have
windows vista 32 bit
4gb ram
ati radeon hd4330 graphic card
sound blaster card
intel core duo
that may be true but it all came down to drivers, nvidia have version of drivers that suck and ati had problem with drivers doesn't mean that the problems aren't fixed in drivers more recently, they both have problems.

Try moving the PCSX2 folder to a place you have permission to, like your Documents folder as well as running as administrator anyway.
