If he's on a 64-bit operating system, it really is difficult. I spent months of searching trying to find a way to do it and only came across it fairly recently.

It's why I have a whole thread on it in the Chatterbox forum.

PM a mod Well I could add it to the FAQ in useful links cause that thread isn't really an 'important' off-topic section thread to be stickied there

Please do. Like I said, it took me a very long time to track down how to get my PS3 controller working on 64 bit Windows and I'd like to help others not go through all that frustration. I downloaded several sketchy (and in a couple cases malignant) programs in desperation to try to get it to work . Hooray for anti-virus/malware programs, though!
