Hi... I have a problem with Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tekainchi 3...
The game run very nice in single player... The FPS are perfect... BUT... When i try to play 1J vs 2J (No vs CPU) i have a down of FPS (In normal mode have up to 200 fps but in 1J vs 2J have no more that 30 FPS)
My hard is...
Phenom x 3 @ 2.3 ghz
8800GS Alpha Dog Edition
2GB Ram @ 1066
PD: With a Athlon x 2 5000 i have best performance but de fps still in 30/32
PD2: I try with so many PCSX2 versions and i have the same problem+
Sorry about my bad english, thanks for reading me...
I am afraid that is normal.the emulator has much more things to calculate/render. Does GSdx report 99% CPU usage? If so,it is your graphics card that can't take the extra load. If it's lower than 90% it means it's your processor that is the bottleneck.
You can try the latest beta and latest GSdx builds

Thanks for the answer. Is a bad news
If possible in the future get a nice emulation of DBZ BT3 in Split Screen? This problem is in all games whit split screen or only in DBZ? Im thinking why cant emulate nicely a PS2 when the hard is much powerful. Well, im going to try with the lastest beta of PCSX2... In a few hours i post the results... Thank you again for reading me
it is not necessary to bump your thread after just a few hours of inactivity. there are already many threads about the dbz games, tried any configs from them? the lag might be related to your speed hacks and frame skip config. try disabling the frameskipping and reduce the vu cycle stealing to moderate. too aggressive speed hack settings will lead to issues like lag, slowdowns, choppy sound/gameplay or glitches/crashes.

Work`s better whit VU Cycle full... When i put in moderate the FPS down a lot... Another suggestion?...
That's the thing VU cycle stealing can create those false FPS, you'd have to see if setting them to full does actually increase the game's speed or just the FPS compared to moderate.
