after a few hours and alot of reading I've finally gotten PCSX2 working. I fixed everything that i could find, but im still getting an odd error which brings me to the start up screen but it does not let me load the game.
this is the error code I get:

and after thorough research i believe it has something to do with the ZeroGS file not being the Dev version, however i have been unable to locate the dev version even after 5 or so hours of searching. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
better use gsdx intead of zeroGs
GSdx will not work on MACs...
Give this a try: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-7236.html
thank you Bositman. I have gotten it working and FFXII runs very well, though with no sound but i shall try and figure that out myself. I can't rely on others for everything.
