This a guide to how to have 100% complete save for a game

Before we start:
Any post asking for a save I will ignore it and other members who are ready to help please do the same (or at least work this out in a pm)
I am not responsible for any damaged, deleted save

Requirement:
1- mymc software you can find it here
2- the ps2 game save you can find it in GameFAQs
3- the game
4- PCSX2

Steps:

1- get the game save from GameFAQs (make sure of the game region note 1 )

2- enter myMC and if it ran successfully it will automatically ask for your memory card

3- chose the memory card you want to add the save to it ( note 3 )

4-make sure that you don't have a game save for the same game already inside your memory card otherwise it won't be imported note 2

5- press import to add the save you have just downloaded to the memory card

6- if everything imported right you should see a new save listed below with your game name on it

7- close mymc and play

1- you must download the save matching your game region if you dont know your game region do this :
open the game's disk ( mount it if you are using an ISO ) and you will find a file like this :

2- to delete the save you already have for the game from your memory card just click on the save ( while using myMC and opening the memory card that you want to delete it from it ) press file then delete or export it ( export = saving a copy which later can bee added to the memory card ... )
If you want that save too you can just use Mcd002.ps2 instead

3- if this error message appear with mymc "Mcd001.ps2: Not a PS2 memory card image" format the card in PCSX2 by doing this :
run the bios in pcsx2(set CDVD to No Disk and use System=>Boot CDVD (fast or full),go to browser and format the card

notes about test subject :

1- i got a GOW save because it is my favorite game you can get any game's save you like

2- i got North America save because my game is NTSC USA as note 1 says

3 - i formatted Mcd002.ps2 you can format any unformatted Memory card

Nice guide how to import GameFAQs saves to pcsx2 memcard but when i read the thread title i thought it would explain how to hack the saves to have all available items/characters/money(like the FF save editor ) etc lol.
But you also have to remember that there are also ".psv" saves on GameFAQs and you can't add them directly through mymc, they have to be converted first into a format that mymc can accept like: ".cbs" ".psu" ".max" ".sps" ".xps". The programs that can do it are "PSVExporter" to export the saves into a folder and then using "ps2save-builder" select the folder and convert the files into one of the supported formats by mymc(remember reading a long detailed guide on ngemu about the conversion of saves a few years ago which was VERY helpful). Anyway i think this will help some of the noobs unless htey are too lazy to try it

nich guide although i knew how to do it.
also i think the save doesn't have to be from the same region your game is as you convert between regions with ps2 save builder.more info about this here.
I only think that this doesn't work when the europe version is different from the us version and vice versa (for example one version has a secret boss,weapon etc).

Inside the disk/image you'll find a file with name that look like this
S***_***.**
If it start with:
SLUS,SCUS – NTSC USA
SLES,SCES – PAL Europe(if your game is PAL,it won't be bad idea to post the full name because some games have more that one PAL version)
SCPS,SLPA,SLPM,SLPS – NTSC-J Japanese
SLKA -  Korea

oh i know about the file and how it decide the game region but i didnt know how to know the region from the name of the file
