They only provided x86 and x64 builds for the developer preview as far as I know, maybe for a beta or RC they might include ARM build but so far x86/x64 is all.
@mem card : do you have difficulty understanding what "based on" mean?

also, keep on dreaming.

@strife79 : never said otherwise.
Shadow Lady u know that Android which most tablets run on, is Linux right Smile So it uses the x86/x64 even Smile But then again, indeed tablet is kinda wrong, but u never know it should be possible though, since according to MS it's light and fast Smile

Except, as I've asid before, even aside from the Metro UI there are plenty of other improvements.

1) New file system with improved performance and management.

2) Much improved security

3) Lower resource usage

4) More support

5) Loads of other features

And, really, the UI is quite easy to get used to. I personally use the mtro UI jus tlike I used my start bar. If anything it's a bit easier.

According to this article, they plan on releasing ARM builds for Windows 8, but who knows who well it will do? They have such stiff competition (iOS, Linux), it will be a steep uphill battle for them to gain any market share.
When is the proper version coming out? I bet it'll cost a computer LoL the price windows always is when it is just released.
