Interesting way to describe it defly gonna add that to my deal watch list on ebay then. Anyone played the disgaea games? I really liked Makai Kingdom was told it was just like that.
First Disgaea is pretty fun, the second is not bad but I really didn't like the main character. And I guess you could indeed say that, Makai Kingdom, Disgaea and Phantom Brave are quite... alike.
Personally I'd get all Gust games over FF X and XII, then Shadow Hearts 1 & 2 (and maybe From the New World), then Dark Cloud 2. Get all NISA strategy game if you adore Makai Kingdom (though Phantom Brave is sappy, storywise).

I have persona 3 found my disc in an old rockband case as was 2 other games in there as well =p. I don't have the FES version though but I could add that to the list of stuff to buy. Also debating on getting Wild Arm Alter Code F I played it halfway through and never got to finish it. Also got Breath of Fire =D still got some money left looking through game lists!
