Agreed Rolleyes
I'm going to the first showing at 5am (UK time) Friday morning in IMAX. So excited! Although I don't think it will be as good, for the simple fact Heath Ledger (R.I.P) won't be playing The Joker.
Just watched it.

9/10

The audio mix at the theatre was a bit shitty, making Bane harder than usual to understand. But that aside, I think TDKR is every bit as good as TDK, but on a bigger scale.

Some non-harmful spoilers:

Robin DOES appear. Kinda.
Batman DOES die. Kinda.
Bane IS the bad guy. Kinda.

I'm sad to hear ten people are dead after a gunman went crazy at a screening in the USA.

Liberals, in addition to calling for more gun laws over the shooting, are bashing the right wing aspect of the film, and right wingers are bashing what they see as an attack on American values. I think the film is evenhanded and criticizes everybody. Good film. Go see it.
Just one question - Is it as good as The Dark Knight?

What is it's relation to The Dark Knight? Is it a totally new movie (reboot), or a sequel?

Because I still see The Dark Knight as the best Batman movie. I wasn't as much of a fan of the older ones, even though I just bought them all to collect.

Edit : Btw, what Conservative aspects are we talking about? I'm a Liberal myself, so that might get to me too. In my opinion, Conservatives are usually the types to play the victim all the time. They're usually just plain whiners who also play this role in the religious field, saying that America was founded on Christian values (and it wasn't, one of the original freedoms was freedom of religion) and that Atheists (though I'm a Free-Thinker more specifically) such as myself are at war with Christianity and they're the poor victims, when it's them that are trying to make the whole world do whatever they want. There are respectable Conservatives out there, but I believe they're scarce, from my experience anyway. They're just totally closed-minded. I don't mean to make this a political discussion though - just a quick question.

If it has Conservative propaganda then I'm certain that FOX will just looovvve promoting the movie.

I think that is the act of Postal dude.

Btw, what is this about anyway? Don't tell me that someone who watched the movie went crazy and killed a bunch of people and then blamed it on the movie.

These people aren't crazy because they read Catcher in the Rye or watched a Batman film, they're crazy because they have serious mental issues that were already there to begin with. I'm sure the media is going to blow it up anyway though.
I think it's as good as Dark Knight, yes. However, the film is *different*.

As for politics, it's critical of anarchism, I suppose. And some see pro-right messages. Others take the opposite view, and think the film is left wing. Already, people are falsely claiming the gunman who killed ten people was a Tea Party member. It's out of control. I got into a fight on twitter, made some enemies, and now my day is ruined...

I mean, I identify as a far right ultraconservative. But the truth is more complex.

The political spectrum is a circle, not a line people Rolleyes.

Alex I know what you mean about respectable conservatives being scarce, I mean here in the UK conservatism is quite tame, more just about low tax and a smaller state sector. In the US it just seems like a whole different story Tongue.

and since when did Anarchy even NEED criticising LoL.

But so much going on Tongue I really wanna see this movie now, I didn't care before.
