Logos updated and after about 8 hours of work,I've set up a new dark theme,select it in your User CP (under options,named DarkTest) and tell me what you think Smile

I like the Original Loo, But that's me, Feels more three dimensional... which to me says The Emulator isn't static, and such lol I am on Dark test, and It looks NICE .... Much better in my view, Although now the Icons... Smileys etc. have a White boarder which looks odd lol, But all in all Nice. Smile

ok here are my remarks.

First the "dysfunctions":

White border around icons.
I suggest you use the layer/defringe option in photoshop
to quickly get rid of it. Or remove white matte.
If you use IE7, you'll realize some icons are missing.
Just two examples :
In top right, the search/menu is a bit messed up with ie7:

Now here are some remarks about design, and they are of course subjective.

I was a bit "shoked" , when I saw the homepage in dark too.
Well , this might not be justified, but this is how I felt
There's a space between the top logo and menu. I believe
it would be nicer to get rid of that space.
I would prefer the logo in azure color, instead of that dark blue.
It would be nice to reduce the dark margin in the border of forum:
About the top menu: it would be nicer, if the "whole button"
was clickable, and if the link was not underlined when "hovering" it.

would it be possible to give the thrads with new posts in it a slightly different colour? only a bit will be enough to make new posts more visible i suggest blue , green or red

feel free to discard this idea if it's a bother or you just don't like it^^
