do you have native resolution checked, i heard ZeroGS is better for Tekken 5 but i am not sure, this game is the heaviest on systems.

go to "advanced->gamefixes" in pcsx2 config

Nope,Tekken 5 runs slow even on core 2 duo beasts overclocked to 4 Ghz +,you will get crappy speeds no matter what system you use for the time being...
