RE: Microvu bug reports official thread
JAk series have corrupted shadows with gsdx SW too.
Both with supervU and MicroVU. Both Software mode and hardware mode. Similar to Shadow of the colossus, howerer SOTC's shadows work fine in SW mod

has been the same up to the latest beta. (r1736)

win xp pro by the way.

I beleive you guys rock and are able to fix this with MicroVU one day...

If there is a problem with the shadows in software mode whether you use superVU or microVU, then it's a GSDX issue, not a microvu issue and show go in that thread in the plugins section.

I thought It was a gsdx problem if software mode worked ok and hardware didn't.

If the case is what you stated, than what the he*ll WOULD be a VU problem ?

If it works with the normal VU recompilers (named VU0 and VU1) and is broken with mVU0 and mVU1 on.

What the heck does that have to do with microVU bug reports? Did you even read the thread title? MK Shaolin Monks never worked with PCSX2, as the compatibility list shows (only ingame): http://pcsx2.net/compat.php?&c=m&s1=1&s2...1&s5=1&p=7

RE: Microvu bug reports official thread
There seems to be a problem with microvu in newer builds. Pcsx2 crashes on me after a certain amount of time in every game when I activate microvu. If I switch back to supervu it doesn't happen. Though the problem seems to be unstable since it doesn't happen everytime. For example: I had a 20 hour run on Persona 4 last week, when everything worked soild.

My specs:

Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
4 GB RAM
GTX 260 216
Windows 7

As a controller I use the xbox360 wireless gamepad with the x360wc drivers.

The crash doesn't seem to happen in the official 1888 beta.

Games I can report where the crash did happen:

Persona 3
Tales of the Abyss
Dragon Quest VIII
Arc the Lad EOD
.Hack Infection (Since the game is known for crashes I'm not really sure here)
Jade Cocoon 2
Grandia 3
Final Fantasy XII
Okami
Wild Arms 3
etc. Seems to happen in all games that I have.

Code:
microVU1: Cached MicroPrograms = [007] [007]
microVU1: Branch VI-Delay (1) [1a08]
microVU1: Branch VI-Delay (1) [1958]
microVU1: Branch VI-Delay (1) [18a8]
microVU1: Branch VI-Delay (1) [17f8]

These are the last lines in the log before it crashes. Game was Tales of the Abyss.

I didn't use savestates and speedhacks were off.
