Dx 10 gives speedboosts in most cases.

haha . i will use "dx10_xp RC2 Fix 2". this software can make you OS support DX10 .

As someone who has used a couple of hacked DX10s for XP in the past, it is useless for PCSX2. The first one that I tried had no effect, and GSDX still didn't show any Dx10 modes in the dropdownlist, the second one worked but with glitches and was actually slower than dx9 mode (I think this is because it uses dx9 functions to emulate dx10? which is a roundabout way of achieving something, basically not good as far as speed is concerned).

DX10 is reliant on Vista and Win7. I don't think there's any feasible way winXP to support it.
