0.9.8 Dark Cloud Config
#1
Hi there. New to posting on the forums.

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations on how I can get an optimal setup for Dark Cloud. I've done some research and it gets real bogged down whenever multiple animations are on screen at once. Around 30-40%. Otherwise, with current set-up, I get 59-65%.

My specs:
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-core @2.20GHz
Nvidea GeForce 9800 GT
6GB of RAM

Thanks for any input!

Try setting both clamping modes to none, and the EE slider and the slider next to it to 1. And perhaps try setting your Renderer to Direct 9 Hardware. Although i wouldnt suggest messing with your Renderer at the same time because my pc can only run Direct 9 so... I cant say that i have experience with Direct 10.

get the latest svn build from here http://pcsx2.net/download/development/svn.html

then enable the "MTVU" speedhack, that will help, however your CPU is generally quite slow.
