We don't really give credits in changelog for everyone who gave ideas / pitched in the discussion for obvious reasons.

What you did was show me where in the code the clock stuff happened when I asked you and explained a bit about how the scalar value worked. And no, at the time I couldn't find it myself which is why I credited you in the original thread. But as far as answering questions regarding what I was doing like that - many many people did. Refraction, Nobbs, rama just to name a few aside from yourself.

However I got a bit stuck with it myself and then the whole thing kinda died. Then a bit later ssakash pretty much rewrote it. The work that is actually in PCSX2 is his.

I still have my original test builds I shared with you, which were long before 1.0.0

They were very rough, they didn't work quite right, but I had made them with rama's help and passed as much along as I could

in fact, to quote you from the same thread:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Overclock...#pid433726

"Well you're kinda exempt since this is partly your work anyway"

which by the way, the added credit was LONG after I said that in the thread

So is it just me or is it indeed impossible to start the program if you don't have a BIOS file?

I can't skip the startup wizard because clicking on Cancel will just close it and if I hit pcsx2.exe again it will start the wizard Smile

edit: also whatever happened to p2b BIOS dumps?

Just wanted to know if Hermite is still the closest to how the PS2 hardware would sound. I noticed Cat-Mull mentioning it was "PS2 like".

The problem of opening pcsx2 1.4.0 is half solved. I was unable to install vc redistribution latest ver. Due to missing api file. But i download the file then put in into system32 folder and then i installed vc redistribution and it installed successfully without any errors. I opened pcsx2 and it said entry point not found in the file(dynamic library) i dont know exactly. What to do?
