1 pixel wide graphical corruption along right side and bottom
#1
Hi guys

First of all. AMAZING job.

Ok, I tried to play Gran Turismo and God Of War 1, and amid some very few instances of slow downs it works amazing. I know if I get a bit better graphics card it should be smooth (got geeforce 460 gtx now, but planning to change it to 660 gtx; plus i2500k not overclocked).

The small think that I got now is this 1 pixel wide line on the bottom and right (sometimes, not always) when full screen. I downloaded latest version of pcsx2, and I set 3x native resolution. I have also 2 monitors (don't know if it is important).

Below is a link to a screenshot I made in God Of War 1:

Does someone ran into this problem and know how to tackle it? (no big deal, but still it would be nice to fix it)

is this something you get when FMVs only, or also ingame ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Hey, thanks for a reply.

I didn't pay attention to be honest if it happened only during fmv's. I think it happened during racing in gran turismo 4 (so not during fmv's, but normal gameplay).

I will try to pay attention from now on and will let you know on some definite answers.

I will tell though that I remember, that going out of fullscreen and back to fullscreen fix those lines for a little while.

You probably lost focus on the PCSX2 window. If it is in fullscreen, but loses focus, you will see the edges of your desktop. You can fix it by simply clicking on the window itself. This would be most prevalent in dual monitor setups, where one is running PCSX2 on one screen and doing something else on the other.

Thank you DragonSyn.

It could be that, yes. Althoguh I remember well that when I clicked on the window it helped, but only for a while, and I noticed the lines a little bit later, and the window deffinetly didn't lose it's focus.

But I will pay attention to it, and it might be a good lead, thanks.

Ok, for anyone who still follows this thread Tongue

I've checked it today with GT4, and I can confirm that:

1) It's not only problem during FMV's
2) It isn't "focused related", since even if I click on the window those 1 pixel lines don't go away. Same if double click and go windowed, and then go back full screen - it also didn't fix it

Nice little hack around. Thanks, that did the trick of taking those iritating lines outside of the visual rectangle.

That is why the zoom function is there.
