2 problems with Gihren's Greed
#1
Well, first off, the "speech freezing" as detailed here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Trouble-w...-Project-V

still exists, though I've switched comps since then.

In addition, I seem to have a small graphical glitch where is seems to place thin lines (usually horizontal, occasionally vertical) out of synch with the rest of the background/image/view.

I'm pretty much a complete dunce when it comes to fixing things on an emulator, especially one with all the options PCSX2 has to work with.

Currently I have the emulator at it's default settings all around.
I'm running the game via iso.
And on my old comp, with the same default settings, those "thin lines" did not show up at all.

My new comp has windows 8 (as opposed to XP on my previous comp).

While neither the thin lines, or the speech freezing problem will stop me from playing the game, it would be nice if I could get either, or both, problems fixed somehow.

My thanks, in advance, for any help you guys might be able to provide.

Yabou is ambition, not greed.
Seeing the thin lines doesn't exist on your other computer, make sure that both computer is using the same pcsx2 build. So get the latest official version and try again.
Try experimenting with round mode and clamping.

I have no idea what "clamping" actually does, but setting it to Extra removed all those little lines.

Yeah, Yabou does mean Ambition, but the wiki I use as a reference for the campaign events lists itself as "Giren's Greed wiki" and was in a bit of a hurry when I typed that Tongue
