2 problems with kingdom hearts...
#1
I'm new on this forum and I've already seen other posts about this problems but i still have them:
1) - Kingdom hearts has little speedups and VERY long slowdowns, where the fps are from 29 to 7. I don't want very fast games, but i just want games with no slowdowns.
2) - The same game crashes when i get for the first time to traverse town.
It doesn't send me messages, I looked the fps, and them were at 2, and never change.
I've played another time at this game, but i still have this problem.
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2P340
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
RAM: 4 GB DDR
and I have pcsx2 1.00 (r5350) with EE/IOP and VU's settings on default.
Graphics plugin : Gsdx 5334 on direct3d 11 (Hardware)
Sound Plugin : SPU2-X r5324
CD Plugin : Cdvd Gigahertz (r4488)
I use the CD of the game and not the iso.
can someone help me?

What are your EE, VU and GS % s during the slowdowns?

Also download imgburn and create an iso of your disc, and try running from the iso to see if you get any performance increase.

If i use an iso and not a cd i won't get any performance increase because i've already played another game with its iso, but i have the same problem.
I think that the most important problem in this post is the crash, because i didn't find any save file for this game.
I'll write what you asked to me tomorrow.

sure.
but making an iso may help avoiding read erors from your PS2 DVD.
