8800 is not a bad card. Of course its extreme power hungry but its efficiency is enough for pcsx2

had a 8800gt before this GTX260 and was satisfied with it.
also it depends on who made it i.e. a Palit 8800gt will never be as good as an Asus/Gainward/... 8800GT ( but i think it would manage)

I have the older 8800GTS's from EVGA. They are Superclocked, but these are the 320MB versions. I am running the same resolutions as Atlas has previously posted with full 60fps on my rig.
Laptop: Apple MacBook Pro Retina 15' | Intel Core i7-4850HQ @ 2.3-3.5Ghz | Optimus Powered nVidia Geforce GT 750M (2GB GDDR5) + Intel Iris Pro Graphics | 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RAM | Intel HD Audio | Apple Magic Trackpad | Samsung 512GB PCI-E Based SSD |

First Kuma came out Dec of 08... Soo... almost 1 year. Kuma's are not the same as the standard X2 series.
