Yeah this was one of the games we explicitly sought to fix when we released 0.9.6 (it failed due to a bug in one of the EE's core instructions). But I don't think the compat list was updated to reflect it since the compat list entry was made using the Release Candidate for 0.9.6 some days prior to release.

The game runs very sexily with VU skip on (you have to use F4 to get to it because it freezes up the level loading screen) however there is black flickering constantly on the screen with it... I'm trying to figure out a way around that right now.

EDIT: fixed by using latest GSdx.
