360 Controller not showing up in Lilypad

Well... Thread subject pretty much summed up my problem.

I've installed all the drivers to get my 360 controller to work on Windows, but Lilypad doesn't seem to find it. Any idea how I can get it to work? Any help would be much appreciated.

(Please bare in mind that I'm a total noob when it comes to PCSX2, so technical jargon will baffle me. I'm not a very technical girl >.<)

Is it plugged in via USB or is it a wireless one? My USB XBOX360 controller works instantly after i plug it in...
