5.1 surround sound

hi at the moment im useing a computer app called voicemeeter to make my computer a av reciver for 5.0 surround sound combineing my tv and two sterio speakers for fr fl c sl sr works great on most games movies and tv however i dont know if pcsx2 is actually useing 5.1 or 4.1 then upmixing with the center channel or what its very confusing can someone explain how to get true 4.0 or 5.0 surround sound out of pcsx2 thank you Smile

the game has to support 5.1 if i recall correctly, and most games didn't at the time.

this is somewhat correct the game itself had to support it yes however queit a few titles supported it and u also did not really answer my question so idk why you replied in the first place

gabsterz, ffviistrife responded to make sure the game supported 5.1 surround. You may not feel the post was helpful, but people are making an effort. You don't want to be "that guy" that is rude to the people who respond, regardless if you found it helpful or not

was unaware that came off rude that was not intended in the slightest tone in text is diffuclt for me due to autism
