50 fps fix for Mercenaries: Playground of destruction (PAL-E, SLES-52588)?

Hey there! ive been getting Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction working on my steamdeck.
The original game renders at half framerate (25fps), is there a .pnach fix that will allow me to run it at 50 fps?
I've found patches for the NTSC version and the PAL-S (SLES-53008) versions but they dont seem to work on my PAL-E (SLES-52588) version.
