50FPS limit issue ?
#1
Hello everyone (i'm new on the forums)
and i need some help  Smile

I'm running PCSX2 1.2.1 (r5875)

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHZ
RAM: 8,00 GB
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 540M CUDA 2GB

And no matter what I do, I keep getting a 50 FPS.

When I start PCSX2 and I run a game it jumps to 60 for like a second then drops back to 50.

Also it doesn't matter if I use the Original PS2 Resolution NATIVE or the scaling bit.
(for example Final Fantasy X)
If I run it on 2x or 3x scaling I'm still @50FPS
If I switch it to NATIVE it's still 50 FPS ?

A little help here please Smile

PS. I also read something about Vsync ??? no idea what it is though :s

Here is the emuLog.txt while running the game.

I've also replaced the previous emuLog.txt with the one that I posted here

It's a PAL game.
hence the 50fps limit.

When I'm running Final Fantasy X-2 (Different game)
I do get 60 FPS ????

So now it's just with Final Fantasy X ?

Is there any differences between pal and ntsc in the amount of FPS ???
I uploaded the emuLog.txt with it.

your ffx is a PAL game.
try running it on your original US PS2 console, and you'll see it won't natively run
your FFX-2 is NTSC, means made for US TV.
By default, PAL TV = 50Hz, NTSC TV = 60Hz
