I honestly can't tell the difference in performance with it on or off.
How should I have it?
OS: Windows 10 Home x64
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GiB DDR3
Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K 3.50 Ghz
Storage: Crucial MX3000 500 GiB SSD

The only reason to use it is for performance. In some games it makes a big difference, like Baldur's Gate. Usually it doesn't do much.
