Just wondering, I already know that this Emulator is running slow like 50 fps in PAL and 60 fps in NTSC. But I am getting a very low fps (with no games running) the highest FPS that I got is 29 FPS.
Now my question, what spec in my pc does affect the speed of this emulator?
Is that my Vid card?
Thanks in advance

How can anyone answer that when you don't mention your graphics card? Your CPU speed is low, usually the emulator is bound by CPU speed except some cases where the graphics card is total crap (like onboard ones or cheap entry level models)

You should tell us your specs. Your CPU will probably be the most significant factor, but your graphics card also plays a part in emulation. Those two would be the parts you're most concerned with, along with adequate RAM (preferably 1GB+)

Sorry for not mentioning, thought my specs doesn't need to be stated,
now here's my spec:
Windows Vista Home Premium 6.0
Intel® Core2 Duo PC T550 @ 1.83Ghz 1.83Ghz
3062 GB RAM
And my video card is crap, here it is
Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family
with Approx. Total Memory of 358 MB
This is a laptop anyways, and i have researched that this effing chipset cant be upgraded because it is build in on the motherboard? Is it true?
I am desperate to change this spec because it is the only that is low
I should have bought a desktop rather than a laptop.
zzzz.
Thanks anyways

Sorry to be blunt but both your CPU and graphics card are crap. You need to update your hardware/buy a new laptop to use PCSX2 properly unless you only intend to play 2D games.

@pedro
So it is possible to run games faster? I mean, I read that 50 PAL 60 NTSC FPS stuff at the configuration or the FAQ thread as I remember.
@Larfin
Even my CPU is crap? Well I intend to buy a desktop now with a very high spec to be able to run all programs lol, apparently on Japan.

Do you know the specs of the PC you intend to buy? Maybe you should run it by us so we can make sure you don't get something too weak.
