A little help with Tony Hawks 3
#1
I hope this is the right place to post.

I'm having no joy getting Tony Hawks 3 to work no matter what i try. It just goes to a black screen after the PS logo.

for GS im using gsdx32-avx

PCSX" version: 1.4.0

My specs are

760 OC
i5 2500
Win 7 64bit
8 gb ram

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you have the MTVU speedhack turned on, switch it off and try again.

Is the emlog? It's very long (taken from the console).

ahh, that maybe the problem i miss labeled. I've got it working now. But the pad (ps2 through adapter) doesn't seem to work (it's fine for others), and it also seems to be running really slow by the sound of the music.

At this point is there a convertor so i can plug a PS2 into a HDMI monitor (will it scale). I just want to play some PS2 games while my wife watches the telly. It seems compared to PS1 emulators it isn't really there yet for PS2

Have you configured the controls for your PS2 pad? Because it should work just fine. And your CPU should be able to run the game just fine too.

The controller seems fine with other titles, it's rather baffling. A shame as this is the one i'd most like to get working.

I tried configuring the controller in a different port and that seems to have worked.

But the game has some really odd speed issues it's half the speed in menues yet in game and videos seem to play at double speed? Any work around for this?

Thanks for the help
