A virus in PCSX2 ?
#1
I scanned PCSX2 installer with VirusTotal. Only 3 of the 66 antiviruses detected it as a virus, probably a false positive. But when I clicked on the "relations" tab, I saw the scan more in details and I saw that some of the files were identified as viruses by almost every antivirus. With such a result, it might not be a false positive so please explain me why.

Because we actually need to insert a virus in the emulator to make sure every single user is infected.
This way, we can take control of the world since our project started 16 years ago.

3 more years and we'll be done

All false positive.
Long ago we had an ad in the installer to cover serverss costs, and it could be viewed as a virus.
Windows defender saw it as a virus something like a year ago too.
Not much we can do about this apart from sending every single AV editor official notes about pcsx2's sanity
