No. You have 2 cores running at 1.83Ghz each. In no way is that equivalent to 1 core at 3.66Ghz.

And he means a dual core running at 3Ghz or over; that is 2 cores running at 3Ghz each.

Never multiply the number of cores and MHz of each core. It is not the same as having one Core @ 3.66. Most single thread apps would run at double the speed of the 2x 1830mhz CPU. Since pcsx2 is a multithreaded app, this is not the case, it benefits from both cores, but the problem is that BOTH cores should be at least 3ghz each for smooth game play. But to be fair and for your future reference, never multiply Cores x Mhz. 4x 3.2 ghz is not 12.8 Ghz, its still a 3.2 Ghz cpu Smile

yeah, but every PC advertisements says such crap like :
10,4 ghz graphic demon pc !!!.. in fact it was athlon II x4 with gf 9500gt xD

That's false advertising I'm pretty sure. You shouldn't see any of that kind of crap from reputable PC stores.

i know its false ... i know much about hardware ... but its completly common. In my country there is site working like e-bay extremly popular.And there are tons of stuff like that there. and most poeple are buying this PC thinking that it is cheap ~~
