AetherSX2 PC Controller

Hi guys, this isn't relating to Windows but to AetherSX2 on Android, but I didn't see any part of the forum relating to Android, but I am hoping someone who uses this PS2 Emulator on Android can help me out with this.

I want to know if its possible to use a controller that I have to play PC games with this emulator on my Android tablet, I obviously will need to get some things online to connect the USB controller to my android tablet, but the question is, does this emulator support a PC controller if you connect it and if so, how do you do it.

It's a long shot, but I wanted to ask. I do have a computer it's true, but it's a relic and I don't use it much and the RAM is not good enough to support the PS2 emulator, where my Android tablet does. That's why I am asking this

NetherSX2 exists as an unofficial successor to AetherSX2. Still, we aren't affiliated in any way.
I apologize for stating that AetherSX2 used code stolen from PCSX2, I got that info straight from Emulation Gener Wiki's page about PS2 emulators. I didn't meant to slander the devs at all, and I always wish these guys better.
