Aftermarket gamepad keeps scrambling my button mapping ...

...As I am trying to map the buttons in the lily plugin settings.

I am using a Gembird JPD-DUALFORCE:

http://www.gembird.nl/default.aspx?ref=J...em&id=2803

The weird part is that it worked before while I as playing shadow of the colossus and prince of persia sands of time (pc version) - every button and stick worked fine except for the "analog" button, but I'm fine with that.

It seems that I can map 11-12 buttons before trying to designate any more causes the button I'm trying to map to replace another random button that I already mapped. I noticed that it's only, or mostly, the L and R analog sticks and the dpad buttons that replace the other buttons.

I use these settings for the lily plugin:

GENERAL:

Keyboard and mouse API: Windows messaging

Start without mouse focus

Game device APIs: "Direct input" and "Monitor when in background"

Miscellaneous: "Disable screensaver" and "Local volume control"

Haks: "Safe full screen exit on escape" and "Save state number in the title"

PAD1 - I only map the buttons and sticks, I don't mess with anything else.

I'd appreciate any piece of advice, and thanks in advance!

Oh, yeah, and pleased to meet you all, first post and everything Biggrin

Twice to make sure, but windows7 doesn't see it in the device manager.

I does recognize it in the "pc game controller properties", including the driver version, and I get the "this device is working properly" message.

Like I said, I got it to work in SOTC and prince of persia sot, but I should add that it didn't work in just cause 2.
