Hi, I'm a long time user and have never had any problems with this emulator until 0.9.7 came out.
I always have my drivers and redists up to date, not just for this program but for many other games that require constant updating.
Every time I start any game the pcsx2 log goes through its loading process but crashes before the game actually loads, and there are no errors in the log.
I have tried many, many different settings. Defaults, different recompilers, vu, interpreter, supervu. Nothing makes a difference as it always crashes in the same spot.
My favorite working rev is 1888. as it plays Dragon Quest 5 and Kingdom Hearts 1 full speed. So I suppose I don't NEED these later revs, but I've always wanted to see if I could benefit from them.
My computer specs are:
Windows xp sp3
AMD X2 5600 2.8ghz
2gb ram
Nvidia 8600GTS 512mb
GSDX - so many different versions. I stick with the one in 1888 or new March one.
Linuz Iso
I know my iso's are clean as I made them myself and they work fine on the older versions.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if more information is required.
