i cannot get this cheat code to work in Altered Beast (PS2):
Have All Beasts
605EBB38 00000000
0000037C 00000001
605EBB38 00000000
00000380 00000001
605EBB38 00000000
00000384 00000001
605EBB38 00000000
00000388 00000001
605EBB38 00000000
0000038C 00000001
605EBB38 00000000
00000390 00000001
the site i got it from said it was an alt. codebreaker 6.
http://www.codemasters-project.net/guide...y.php?e=23
i got another code under that section and it worked. so i don't know if this code has an misprint or the game needs special requirements that i don't have. the emulator reads the code (and it is on), but doesn't apply it.
can somebody help me with this problem?

I haven't used cheat codes for a long time by now. Do pnach finally accept entering just the address and value line?
Even if is the case, codes you get from those sites are encrypted (as expected by the actual cheat devices for PS2) and must be made raw (actual addresses and values) before used. You may need an utility like omniconverter to do the decryption.
Finally, the code must be for the same game region or version. Otherwise you'd be just pushing values at wrong memory locations.

Same happens with Crash Twinsanity (NTSC-U), I used Codebreaker itself but nothing happened... I used PCSX2CE, though.
EDIT: Tried Omniconvert and it works, great!
EDIT 2: The convertion works, but the cheats don't work, even though they are loaded.

I don't think pnach implement codes relying on controller's keys being pressed, I may be wrong. Someone can manifest about this please?

//patch=1,EE,24D01EE8,extended,B074437F <--- Encrypted
Why is there written Encrypted? Maybe PCSXCE discovered that this code is still not raw?
If so it can not work.
In any case I would rather test a cheat which works all the time like infinite health. I also have never seen that button-activated cheats are allowed.
To activate a pnach you have to erase the two slashes in front of 'patch='
