Analog problems

So for my first game I am trying to play kingdom hearts but my left analog stick stops functioning correctly when I put in the bottom right hand corner. Instead of running Sora starts walking and it's making it really hard to fight. It does it a little bit in the other corners, but not nearly as annoying as the bottom right. I tried messing with the dead zone slider bar but I just ended up making it worse. I am using a wired xbox 360 controller that works fine for Skyrim.
