You need a powerful cpu and gpu cause i have the same in my laptop and i have slowdowns i the beginning of the game with the boss yes the octopus with gravity it has slowdowns to go to 50 fps to 25 fps, with my tower i have a good specs tower and i have it at 6x native and works correctly without slowdowns xDDDD

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, with a core-i3 550@ 3.2GHz, and a Geforce GT610, as well as 4 gigs DDR3 ram. Anything esle you need to know?

GT610 is the problem.

Your GTX 760 has 2GB of vram. The spell demi will eat your 2GB of vram alive.

Is my build that more powerful there yours? cause I can do DX 11 4x native, Texture filtering (2d/3d) 16x AF and GSdx FX 2.00 Revised (its FXAA and all color/lighting effect on other then cel shading and color grading and have no slowdown from demi

I have 660gtx with 2gb and i have no slowdown so obviously that is wrong. Think if more of case of intel has far superior performance in single thread over AMD even when AMD is OC'ed. With older pcsx2 builds talking a year ago or more I had massive slowdown with demi. Probably around the time MTVU has introduced was when I stoped haveing that slow down now and his GPU is more powerful then mine so 2gb being the issue is just wrong

To the OP yes Intel is far Superior to amd clock for clock at single thread especial for pcsx2, but there is also huge difference from a i7 at 2.6ghz and i3 at 3.2ghz that and your probably probably more on the gpu side of things

Like Tuanming said, the GT610 is the problem.
Lower the settings in GSdx as best as you can, use only Native resolution, or 1024x1024 maximum,
Do not use FXAA, FX Shaders, Anisotrophic Filtering or other HW Hacks.

Also turning on speedhacks like MTVU can improve framerate, even on a dualcore CPU.
This has nothing to do with GPU though, but just in case.

Well, I'm getting less slowdowns Now that I turned off EE Cyclerate and VU stealing >_>. Note to self, read tooltips next time(that's not to say I don't still get the occasional dip to 40fps or lower during cutscenes or heavy graphics usage, but it's not for longer than a minute, and I can live with that)
